Christ Church is proud to be a supporter of Welcome Friends of Greater Port Jefferson. For over 30 years, the organization has addressed hunger in Port Jeff and surrounding communities. Through its soup kitchens, Welcome Friends creates a sense of community for neighbors affected by hunger and poverty by serving them with dignity and respect in a safe, hospitable environment. Every Monday, Christ Church hosts Welcome Friends. The church is open to serve a hot meal at 6:00 p.m., and to send every guest home with another, bagged meal.
